Techism has been serving the local community since 2004. Primarily a computer repair and internet access shop, printing, photocopying, and scanning are also available. We offer printing from both an A4 black‑and‑white laser printer and an A3 colour inkjet.

RESSURECT OLD MACS
If you have an older MacBook, MacBook Air, Mac mini, or iMac that's stuck on an outdated operating system, we can help. At Techism, we specialise in installing newer macOS versions on unsupported Macs using a tool called OpenCore Legacy Patcher.
For example, we’ve successfully installed macOS 14 Sonoma (released September 26, 2023) on a 2010 iMac, which now runs smoothly and supports the latest apps. We’ve also upgraded several MacBook Pros and MacBook Airs with great results.
This service is available for £70.

Printing
Printers are A3 and A4.One colour inkjet and one black and white laser printer. Printing can be done from the internet, desktop, laptop, CD, memory stick or your smartphone.

We currently have 8 fast computers available: 7 PCs and 1 iMac, all connected to an 8.5 MB internet connection. Each system comes equipped with popular web browsers, including Firefox, Google Chrome, Edge, and Safari.
Additional software includes:
Microsoft Office Suite, OpenOffice, Zoom, iTunes, and more.
💻 Internet access is just £1.00 per half hour.
All machines are fitted with:
DVD drives (for burning and reading discs), webcams, memory card readers, headsets, and yes—even floppy drives!
